Confidence is something we all struggle with. When you really need it most, especially in an uncomfortable situation like a presentation, an interview, talking to that one girl that you like. Times where confidence essential, it disappears. Well today you’re going to fight that off by showing you a couple of brain tricks. Things you can do mentally, to instantly boost your confidence.

1.YOU NEED TO REALIZE EVERYONE IS HUMAN

This is a good fundamental place to start. We tend to think that we’re the only ones with insecurities with doubts in our head and caring what other people think. In reality, these thoughts are normal, everyone has them. No matter how successful or beautiful that person is, at their core, they’re just human. Most likely, they care about what you think of them.

2.VISUALIZE YOUR BEST SELF

Every morning, just take a couple of minutes and visualize how you want that day to be. Especially if you have something big going on that day. Hard work, courageous, confidence, grateful, whatever it is, think about how you want to be that day. When you open your eyes, you’re going to feel a boost of energy and ready to take on the day. Go ahead, give it a shot tomorrow morning!

3.DRESS BETTER

I can tell you this from personal experience. I recently went on a 12 day trip to Europe and then I had to come back to work, catch up with all of my videos and work. Therefore, I hadn’t been to the gym in about 3 weeks. Believe me when I said that I felt it. I was sluggish and my energy was at a all time low. Last night, I was finally able to hit the gym and I feel like a completely different person. I feel energetic, full of energy and on top of the world. That’s just from one day back. Imagine if you did this everyday.

5. WALK FASTER

People can determine a lot about your self-confidence by the way you walk. Is your walk slow, tired and just painful to watch? You know when you see that, that person isn’t feeling themselves that day. However, confident people have a certain “pep to their step” that you can definitely see from a mile away. They walk with a purpose, like that have places to be, people to see, they look important.

6.GUARD YOUR THOUGHTS

A lot of times, your confidence is attacked by yourself. Throughout the day, you have thousands of thoughts going through your brain. Some are good and some are bad. The key is not let those bad ones get to you and strip you of your confidence. As soon as you have a negative thought, you want to catch it and replace it with a positive one. A good trick is to wear a rubber band, as soon as you have a bad thought, pull it back and let go of the rubber band. It’s going to give you a light sting, but it’s going to start reconditioning your brain every time you have negative thought. Therefore, you’re going to have less negative thoughts!
