1.STOP TEXTING A DRIVING
This is just wrong. You should never do this. Texting and driving not only puts you in danger but you also jeopardizes everyone around you. If you stop distracting yourself and only focus on driving, then you will be a better driver than probably 90% of the population.
2.LEARN TO ADJUST YOUR MIRRORS
A lot of people adjust their mirrors so that they are able to see their car. This is incorrect. If your car is visible, you will no longer be able to see you blind spot. Instead, when you adjust your mirrors, make sure you are not able to see your car.
3.DON’T HOG THE LEFT LANE
If you’re not passing someone or going faster than the rest of the cars…don’t use it. It’s the worst when people hog the left lane and go the same speed as everyone else on the other lanes. Remember, being a better driver isn’t always about yourself. You have to know your surroundings and look out for everyone else. In addition, if you’re holding up traffic, you’re not a good driver.
4.MOVE AT THE SAME SPEED AS EVERYONE ELSE
In many states, you can get a ticket for going slower than everyone else. Many times, people are going a little over the speed limit so if you don’t want to move with them, head over to the right lane. But always remember, don’t hold up traffic and don’t slow anyone down.
5.DON’T HAVE ROAD RAGE
Road rage is going to take you no where. It’s probably going to get you killed. It’s hard to keep calm when there are so many bad drivers, but you have to keep your cool, before one thing leads to another and someone gets hurt. Just hold it in and go about your day. Yelling and screaming won’t help anybody.
