I get it…the struggle is real. We all want to look more expensive. But in reality, most of us are broke! But you know what? That’s completely fine, becuase today I’m going to show you how to dress like a millionaire without the absurd price-tag that comes with it.

This is a simple rule that I recently learned about that I wish, I had known about earlier when I was a high school and college student. Essentially, you buy 1/3 less clothes than you usually would. As a result, you stop overbuying and start saving closet space. Now, with that money you buy items that are 3 times more expensive. So at the end of the day, you end up with quality basics that you could wear continuously and will also last you a while.

Quality can make or break your outfit. For example, take our ESNTLS t-shirt that’s made out of an luxurious bamboo-cotton blend. It looks, feels, and fits like no other, making this a shirt that will look better on you than a $500 Gucci tee. Don’t believe me? Just look at that picture (above), there’s no question why ESNTLS are the best shirts in the market right now.

This is how you can you can get those quality fabrics at a lower price. Don’t buy luxurious pieces while they’re in season, that’s the worst shopping mistake you can make. Therefore, buy your winter clothes in the summer and vice versa.

What I do is use an app called ShopTagr, it’s a free add-on to your browser that lets you tag items you like on the internet.

Once you see an item you want, simply tag it and ShopTagr will notify you when it’s on sale or if it got restocked. This is perfect for smart shopping and buying out of season. I use it all the time and by now, I saved hundreds of dollars by using ShopTagr. So, if you’re on a budget and want luxurious items for less, I highly recommend you download it.

If you stand straight up and have your chest out, it’s going to make you appear taller. Making yourself seem more authoritative and trustworthy. For some weird reason, people subconsciously associate height with authority. All you have to do is buy shoes and clothing that gives the illusion of stature.

If you want to look like a million bucks, your style shouldn’t be bold, loud or outside the box. Instead, you want to blend in.

There’s a whole handbook, believe it or not, that teaches you how to look and act like a millionaire even if your not. There was a interesting quote that stood out to me that read “If you don’t adhere to a certain dress code, you’ll never get ahead”. Don’t just be a rebel with a cause, A.K.A. unemployed. If you want to blend in, here are 6 situations where you need to blend in if you want to look like a million bucks.Β

  • Funerals
  • Weddings
  • Black-Tie Events
  • Monday-Friday @ The Office
  • Country Clubs
  • Church
