5 Reasons The Gym SUCKS

Posted on Jul 03,2018 in Fitness

Aren’t you tired of paying that monthly fee to go to the gym? When most of the time, 80% of the equipment is always being used and you’re stuck on the elliptical for an house. Well, I’m here to say you don’t need the gym anymore, cancel your membership and only do 10 pushups at night. That’s the true formula to success.

ok…Just kidding. Obviously,  the gym should be your second home. Apart from eating healthy. the gym is the best way to get you that chiseled and ripped body. Today, I wanted to talk about the top 5 reason why people think the gym sucks and they stop going.

1.Muscle Soreness

Whenever first-timers to the gym expirience this type of pain, they get immediately turned off. Secondly, they believe that they injured themselves which leads to not going to the gym anymore. Guys, muscle sore is a good thing! It means your muscle fibers are tearing apart and your getting stronger. Take muscle soreness as a source of motivation, it means your doing the right thing. However, if the pain really bothers you, make sure the stretch, apply ice, take hot showers or go in for a massage.

2. Excessive Sweating and Chafing

Obviously when you work out, you’re going to expirience excessive sweating, especially when your a bit overweight or just move around a lot, chafing might occur as well. I get it, it can get very uncomfortable. That’s why I always carry my Chassis Powder with me in my gym bag at all time.

Chassis focuses on just that. Making grooming products that solve problems for guys “down there”. If you suffer from swamp balls or swamp ass, using this powder will completely get rid of it. I know this might be an embarrassing subject to talk about, but it’s real. It seriously bothers some people, so why not be comfortable? But don’t take my word for it, go to Amazon and look  at the insane reviews this product has. If this is something you want to take care of , buy 1 and see how it works for you. I promise you that you won’t regret it.

On top of that, if you suffer from chafing, I highly recommend you try out their Shower Primer, the main focus is the get rid of that any annoying friction that causes irritation. When you apply this primer, it lubricates your skin so that it doesn’t lead to chafing later on. Just apply it in the shower and let it sit for 30 seconds, then wash off. You’ll see the difference it makes in the gym.

3. Gym Bros

I get it, when you’re first starting out, these types of clowns could be intimidating. They walk around in their string tank tops and act like the own the place. It’s an easy turn off becuase you have that mindset of not belonging there. But here’s something you need to understand, no one likes the gym douche, so you’re not alone. Secondly, this is a great way to build mental toughness, life is not always sunshine and rainbows. Most of the time, you’re going to get uncomfortable. Just toughen up, plug in your headphones and go to work. Tune out everything else and focus on yourself.

I’ve heard this excuse so many times. Some gyms are expensive and some aren’t. It’s just a matter of finding them. You just have to look for the right franchises, try somewhere like Planet Fitness or smaller ones that offer deals as cheap as $1o a month. That’s 30 cents a day! If that’s still too expensive for you, I have about 4 videos on home workouts, so matter what, you have no excuse to not workout and get in the best shape of your life.

This could be the only valid excuse of the list. If you have zero gym expirience and step into a gym, it could be a bit confusing. Not only could it be intimidating but also dangerous. That’s why I also recommend you walk in with a game plan. However, a simple Google search will direct you to hundreds of workouts so that next you go to the gym, you’ll know exactly what to do.
